Title:Differences between Vertical Colloid Mill and Split Colloid Mill
Answer:The height of horizontal colloid mill is low, but the vertical one is high. Horizontal colloid mill need to consider design axial orientation to avoid touching the motor shaft axially fixed gear to wear. It is best to cover the front motor bearing, because the design rotor and the axial thermal expansion will be key to motor front bearing after the bearing direction of the motor move to reduce the impact of the grinding gap. Due to the motor is installed vertically; the electric transfer of vertical colloid mill will ensure motor rotor does not occur horizontal transmission. So you can not consider the axial position. If the discharging port of horizontal colloid mill is upward, it needs to set discharge valve in below to prevent exhausting the materials due to long shutdown. The design of anti-fouling plate should consider dirt flow back. Otherwise, the vertical colloid mill is not need. Transmission efficiency is close to each other, vertical one is higher than horizontal one.
